This 1940 Jefferson Nickel is a rare find for coin collectors. With no mint mark and a Phil Sever strike error on the rim, this coin is a unique addition to any collection. Made of a composition of 75% copper and 25% nickel, the fineness and KM number are unknown, making it even more elusive. This Uncertified, Ungraded coin has been circulated, adding character to its already interesting story. The Coin features a portrait of Thomas Jefferson on the obverse and his Monticello estate on the reverse.
